These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any related pages, forms, and services (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting information through it, or calling a telephone number displayed on it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
This Site is operated by LeadBaron LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (“LeadBaron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “HealthBaron” is the name of this website. It is not a separate company, and it is not an insurance agency.
LeadBaron LLC is a marketing and advertising company. We are not an insurance company, an insurance agency, or an insurance broker. We are not licensed to sell insurance. We do not employ insurance agents. We do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance, issue policies, determine eligibility, set premiums, or make coverage decisions.
We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, HealthCare.gov, the Health Insurance Marketplace, or any federal, state, or local government agency or program.
The Site provides general information about health insurance and connects consumers who request contact with independent, licensed insurance agents, brokers, agencies, and other third parties (each, a “Partner”).
We are compensated by Partners for connecting them with consumers, typically on a per-call or per-referral basis. This compensation may influence which Partners we work with and which Partner you are connected to. We do not represent all insurers, all agents, or all plans available in your area, and the Site does not display all Qualified Health Plans available through the Health Insurance Marketplace. To review all available plan options and enroll directly, visit HealthCare.gov or your state’s Marketplace.
Partners are independent third parties. They are not our employees, our agents, or our representatives, and we do not control their conduct, their licensure status, the accuracy of statements they make to you, or the plans they recommend. Your relationship with any Partner is solely between you and that Partner.
Nothing on the Site is insurance advice, legal advice, tax advice, or financial advice, and nothing on the Site is a solicitation to buy insurance by us. Information on the Site is general, may not reflect the most current law or program rules, and may not apply to your circumstances. We do not determine your eligibility for any plan, any special enrollment period, or any premium tax credit or cost-sharing reduction. Eligibility and subsidy determinations are made solely by the Health Insurance Marketplace.
We make no representation or guarantee that you will qualify for any health insurance plan, any premium tax credit or cost-sharing reduction, any particular premium, or any particular level of coverage or savings. Premium tax credit amounts and eligibility depend on your income, household size, age, location, and applicable law, all of which change. The enhanced premium tax credits available from 2021 through 2025 expired on December 31, 2025.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. The Site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
You agree that any information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete, and that the telephone number you provide is a number you own or are authorized to provide consent for. You agree not to submit another person’s information without their authorization. We may reject, correct, or delete information we reasonably believe to be inaccurate or fraudulently submitted.
We do not call, text, or email you. This Site does not collect your name, telephone number, or email address, and neither we nor any Partner will contact you as a result of using it.
If you choose to answer the questions on this Site, we use your answers to route you to an appropriate Partner and we display a telephone number. You place the call. Nothing on this Site authorizes anyone to call or text you.
When you place the call, you are connected to an independent licensed insurance agent or broker. What happens on that call, and any follow-up contact you agree to during it, is between you and that Partner and is governed by their policies and any consent you give them directly. We are not a party to that agreement.
If you later want a Partner to stop contacting you, tell them directly during a call, or ask us at accounts@leadbaron.io and we will identify the Partner your call was routed to.
Calls placed to or from telephone numbers displayed on the Site may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, verification, and compliance purposes, by us or by a Partner. Some states require all parties to consent to recording. By calling a number on the Site, or by accepting a call resulting from your submission, you consent to such recording and monitoring. If you do not consent, say so at the start of the call and do not proceed.
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false, fraudulent, or automated form submissions; scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data; interfere with or attempt to compromise the Site’s operation or security; reverse engineer any part of the Site; or transmit malware or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, the HealthBaron name and mark, layouts, and software — are owned by LeadBaron LLC or its licensors and protected by United States and international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
The Site may link to third-party websites, including Partner sites and HealthCare.gov. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, or privacy practices. Links do not constitute endorsement.
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEADBARON LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEADBARON LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY INTERACTION WITH A PARTNER, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
YOU AND LEADBARON LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Opt-out. You may opt out by emailing accounts@leadbaron.io with your name, the phone number you provided, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other provision.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeadBaron LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your submission of another person’s information without authorization, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 14, the state and federal courts located in [COUNTY] County, Connecticut have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be indicated by notice on the Site.
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will stay in force. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and LeadBaron LLC regarding the Site.

This Privacy Policy describes how LeadBaron LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through this website (“HealthBaron” or the “Site”), a website LeadBaron LLC operates.
Important: LeadBaron LLC is a marketing company, not a health care provider, health plan, or health care clearinghouse. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and information you provide to us is generally not protected health information under HIPAA. Information you later give directly to an insurance agent, broker, or carrier may be governed by different rules and by their own privacy policies.
Information you give us: ZIP code; age range; household size; and estimated household income range. We do not collect your name, telephone number, or email address through this Site. Information you give directly to an insurance agent or broker during a call you place is collected by them, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy.
Information about your visit: IP address; browser type and version; device type and operating system; referring URL; pages viewed and time on page; the marketing campaign, ad, or link that brought you here; and date and time of visit.
Consent records: where you give consent for us to share your answers, we record the consent language displayed to you, the timestamp, your IP address, and your user agent.
Call information: calls you place to numbers displayed on the Site may be recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by us or by the Partner you are connected to. Records may include the number you called from, call duration, and call content. Because you place the call, your telephone number becomes known to us and to the Partner at that point.
Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7.
We do not knowingly collect names, telephone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, or immigration status through the Site.
Some information you provide — for example, that you are shopping for health insurance, your current insurance status, or your age and household composition in a health insurance context — may be consumer health data under laws including the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act.
Where those laws apply, we collect and share consumer health data only with your separate, affirmative consent, obtained distinctly from any other consent. We request that consent at the point of collection.
Your rights regarding consumer health data: you may withdraw consent at any time; request confirmation of whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and the third parties with whom it has been shared; and request deletion. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred. Email accounts@leadbaron.io.
We do not sell consumer health data as “sell” is defined under the Washington My Health My Data Act, which requires a signed valid authorization.
With Partners. When you place a call, we share the answers you gave on the Site with the independent licensed insurance agent or broker who receives the call, so they can help you without repeating the questions. Partners are independent, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
With service providers. Call tracking and routing (including Ringba, Retreaver, and Everflow), hosting, and analytics. Service providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
With advertising platforms. We share limited, typically hashed, identifiers to measure and optimize campaigns. We do not share health-related information with advertising platforms.
For legal reasons. Where required by law, subpoena, or legal process; to respond to a government or regulatory request; to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others; or in connection with an investigation of fraud or suspected violation of our Terms.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Please read this carefully. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and under similar laws in other states, our transfer of your information to Partners in exchange for compensation is a “sale” of personal information, and our sharing of identifiers with advertising platforms may be “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We sell and share personal information in this sense.
| Categories sold or shared | Categories of recipients |
|---|---|
| Identifiers (IP address, and your telephone number once you place a call); demographic and commercial information (ZIP, age range, household size, income range) | Licensed insurance agents, brokers, agencies, lead buyers, and advertising platforms |
You may opt out at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information request below, or by emailing accounts@leadbaron.io. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as valid opt-out requests. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising measurement, including the Meta pixel and Conversions API. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality. We honor GPC signals as described in Section 6.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share; access a portable copy; correct inaccurate information; delete your personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive personal information; withdraw consent for consumer health data; and appeal a denial of any request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To submit a request, email accounts@leadbaron.io or write to the address in Section 13. We verify identity using information we already hold. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization. We respond within the period required by applicable law, generally 45 days, extendable once where permitted. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state Attorney General.
Calls and texts: we do not call, text, or email you. If a Partner you spoke with is contacting you and you want it to stop, tell them directly, or email accounts@leadbaron.io and we will identify the Partner your call was routed to.
We retain personal information as long as necessary for the purposes described here and to meet legal, audit, and dispute-resolution obligations.
Consent records — including consent language, timestamps, IP addresses, and third-party consent certificates — are retained for ten (10) years, consistent with recordkeeping expectations applicable to health insurance enrollment assistance and to permit response to audits, complaints, and legal claims. Other information is retained for [RETENTION PERIOD] unless a longer period is required.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Contact accounts@leadbaron.io.
We may update this Policy. Changes take effect when posted with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be indicated by notice on the Site.

This Notice applies to consumer health data collected through this website and is provided under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Information indicating that you are seeking health care services or health insurance — including that you are shopping for a health plan, your current insurance status, and the age and household information you provide in that context.
We do not collect diagnoses, medical records, prescriptions, treatment history, biometric data, or precise location data.
Directly from you, when you answer the questions on this Site. We collect and share consumer health data only after you give separate, affirmative consent, which we request before showing you a telephone number.
We use consumer health data solely to route the call you place to an independent licensed insurance agent or broker who can discuss health insurance options with you, and to maintain records of your consent.
We share it with those independent licensed agents and brokers, and with the service providers described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy who process it on our behalf. We do not share consumer health data with advertising platforms.
We do not sell consumer health data as “sell” is defined under the Washington My Health My Data Act, which requires a signed valid authorization.
To exercise any of these rights, email accounts@leadbaron.io with your name and the phone number you provided. We verify identity using information we already hold and respond within the period required by applicable law.
Consumer health data is retained as described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy. Consent records are retained for ten (10) years.

When you place a call from this Site, we share your answers and call information with the independent licensed insurance agent or broker who receives it, and we are compensated for that connection. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA and similar state laws, that transfer is a sale of personal information. You can opt out below.
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals automatically. If your browser sends GPC, you are already opted out and do not need to submit this form.
Opting out here stops us from selling or sharing your information going forward. It does not withdraw consent you gave to a Partner who already received your information — contact that Partner directly, or email us and we will identify them.
You may also email accounts@leadbaron.io or write to LeadBaron LLC, [MAILING ADDRESS]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
